The Johnston Street Machines “Cruzin for a Cause” was established on April 3, 2015 by Gary W. Maddocks Jr, George and Gina Arakelian and Anthony Ferranti of Johnston, Rhode Island. It is our intent to bring back to the Town of Johnston the nostalgic history of cars and cruise nights that used to be so prominent in the center of the town years ago at the old Burger Chef, Howard Johnsons and Burger King. Our goal is to promote street rodding to support & contribute to charitable organizations and to encourage community involvement on Thursday cruise nights at the newly established Denny’s restaurant located at 1448 Hartford Ave, Johnston Rhode Island.
